To America with love

I'm listening to the beautiful Adagietto from Mahler's
5th Symphony. Walking through Birmingham, England this
morning, the sense of sorrow can be felt. Flags fly at
half mast, and beside the monuments in the town centre
are laid flowers and writings all in tribute to our
American friends.

I shall be attending a service of remembrance this
evening but I just feel so helpless.

Why?

I just wanted to tell you that England is with you in
your time of anguish.

With love and deepest sympathy,

Natalie Louise Webster.
