Re: Guess Whose Recording Was Used in the Movie "Hannibal"?



Some may remember that Glenn made an appearance in the movie's predecessor
("The Silence of the Lambs"), as rather poingnant counterpoint to Lector's
gruesome escape from his inprisonment.  I believe the final Aria from the
'55 recordings was used, and even the F# minor fugue that follows.  Let us
hope that Hannibal's enthusiasm for Gould (cited in the book as well) stems
from his above-average intelligence rather than his less savoury tendencies
. . .

I really believe it's the 80's recording.
