I've heard them.  They're very complex and very atonal.

Schnabel's tempos in the Waldstein are actually not so extreme.  Gieseking,
Solomon, Dubravska Tomsic, and Robert Taub, for instance, all play at
similar tempos.

I think the fast tempos work in the first movement, but in the last
movement, Schnabel's 112 is too fast for my taste, making an Allegretto
into an Allegro.  A tempo closer to 100 is more appropriate IMHO.
