Gould refutes the Szell story in his letter 'to the editor, Esquire
magazine', dated 25 Oct 1979, although no mention is made of him having
annoyed Szell by dancing during a rehearsal.
He does indicate that he thought Szell was 'humourless, and that the whole
story was rather tasteless!
