I should also add that the picture one the home page of the site is my
favorite and represents to me Gould's joyous polyphony and at the same time
hints at the darker moments in the music, such as the slow movement in the
bach d minor concerto.

I'm sorry to say that I don't really think of beethoven when I see those
pictures.
