For all you people like me who live in the SoCal area, here's a link to an
early music society that the kind people at Wildboar told me about.  You
might want to think about joining to get a listing of the early music events
happening in the area, as well as meeting people who share some of your
interests in music.
I'm in touch the president of the society and she seems pretty nice as well.
