I am getting interested in JS Bach's organ music. Of course, there
area a vast number of recordings and performers to choose from, as well as
divergent and sometimes contradictory views in Penguin Guide, ARG, Fanfare,
and similar publications. I would be curious to know whether there are
particular organists which any of you favor in this repertory; are there any
organists who share the attributes of the GG keyboard style? ( Obviously, we
are talking about two very different types of keyboards for the piano and
organ, but you know the attributes I am referring to: clarity of polyphonic
articulation, rhythmic drive, a sense of the overall architecture of the
piece, etc.) Of course, recommendations need not be limited to those in the
"GG" school.

        Thanks!
