GG top 100 of the century results!

I just saw the December 1999 Gramaphone magazine.
In the voter top 100 of the century contest, GG won 5th
place for the 1981 Goldberg Variations!  Congratulations GG!

I think 5th place is very good and quite remarkable, especially
for a solo project.

First place went to Solti for Wagner's Ring (if I remember right)
The Gramophone web site is way behind, still back in
September, but I'm sure they will have the full list up
eventually.
