GG: Beethoven

To me Beethoven (particularly in the string quartets) put his finger on what
is good and wonderful about being human. Bach is more a revelation about
what is right and beautiful with nature and all creation, but listening to
Beethoven you are really on a personal, particularly human journey with him.
I feel one of Beethoven's greatest contributions to music was to change the
way we listen to music.
