the humming part is interesting; gould being left-handed would have
developed his right brain-hemisphere more that average. recent research
reveal that lefthanders (or rightbrainers) are better singers because a
part of the right hemisphere controls singing, or more precise, melody.
this is of paramount importance when explaining gould, i belive that this
is as close we can get to that.
