RE: The Idea of North

A friend (Taiwainese) and I (American) spent a week on Baffin Island this
summer,
partly from an interest in Inuit culture and partly from an interest in
Gouldian
culture. Gave me many of my own ideas of North. Someday I'll have to
contrive
an excuse to spend a whole season up there.

When you listen to Glenn Gould playing Bach, you don't say what great
technique he has. You say how great Bach's music sounds. It's the same
thing with film acting.
