Fwd: That new Gould site...

Thanks to everyone who offered their feedback on Donchery, my new
GG page. I'll be working to implement as many suggestions as possible -
especially those wonderful bibliographic additions, Junichi!

It's my hope to update the site on a semi-regular basis, and perhaps (if the
content makes itself available) add a "Gouldies in the News" section to
highlight some of the current achievements of Foundation Friends and F_Minor
list members. This might be a good place to promote live recitals, journal
publications, marriages, relocations... etc. All self-promotional will be
accepted, but all material is subject to editorial review. ;-)

I've noticed that my host site reneges a bit on their "free homepage" claim by
disconnecting the viewer from Donchery after a variable amount of time, and
connecting automatically to an ad page (this is in addition to the small
"pop-up"
ad window.). This seems a bit specious to me, so if anyone has a suggestion
for a more well-mannered freebie site (or wants to donate about 5mb of spare
web space) let me know. The goal is to keep the ads off the actual pages,
and I
thought the Globe would do this. Alas, seems there's a trade-off to everything.

Best regards,
Kristen
(aka Simcoe, groundskeeper of Donchery)
