Curious parallel here with regard to self-reflexive approach to discourse:

Jean Luc Godard's critical writings were published in English as Godard on
Godard (1972). This same year, GG had published, in High Fidelity, "Glenn
Gould Interviews Himself about Beethoven". Two years later, High Fidelity
published "Glenn Gould Interviews Glenn Gould About Glenn Gould". The
connection between GG and a filmaker seems natural. I wonder if GG had a
close eye on Godard.
