Speaking of inferior CBS copies, my cd copy of the Bach Viola da Gamba/Violin & Harpsichord pieces seems to have some serious sound problems. The Cello section is fine, but the 6 Violin pieces sound awful, almost as if the initial eq was off and the violin is blowing out the bass, causing a nasty hissing static. Can anyone else out there sympathise with this flaw, or is it only my copy?
